Have significant base damage that you'd like fixed?
If you have base damage that goes past the base material and reveals the core of your skis or snowboard, or have damage that exposes the edges, you'll need more than just a simple P-Tex job. While P-Tex does an excellent job of adhering to base material, it doesn't bond as well to things like metal and wood. For that, you need something called base weld, which is essentially a material that mixes P-Tex with epoxy. That blend has much better grip strength and will last much longer than a simple P-Tex fix.
For this $20 service, we'll upgrade your repair from P-Tex to base weld. If your skis have further damage, you can use this service to book your appointment, leaving additional comments in the notes. From there, we'll setup a consultation to discuss your best options.
