Looking to take your tune to the next level? Our Deluxe Ski and Snowboard Tune package includes everything in our Standard Tune, plus p-tex base repairs, our 5-Phase base treatment, and setting of your base bevels.

Compared to our Standard Tune, our Deluxe Tune is going to take that velvety, fresh base structure feeling to the next level, while also adding a degree of responsiveness to your edges. With this package, we'll use our 5-Phase base treatment flattens your bases to a point at which we'll be able to reset your base bevels. For the first phase, we'll run your skis or board through our belt grinder to remove any imperfections and sand down any P-Tex we might have added.

From there, we'll set our stone to a straight, coarse structure to begin the process of flattening your bases. After a few passes through our coarse stone structure, we'll work your ski through two more levels of straight structure patterns, getting slightly less coarse each time. At the end of this process, your skis will be flat and "mirrored," meaning they're so smooth you can almost see your reflection in them.

At that point, we'll reset your base bevel, ensuring they're just high enough off the snow to not be catchy, yet close enough to feel responsive. This process takes your skis a step beyond a basic sharpening, giving you the ultimate edge control.

Finally, we'll finish our 5-Phase base treatment with a diagonal cross hatch pattern to ensure that moisture is efficiently whisked away as you move across the snow, giving you that velvety feeling.

To finish your tune, we'll sharpen your edges with our belt grinder and diamond stones before applying a layer of wax to your bases using our infrared machine.
